Clyde, room AC units run somewhere around 75-80db. That's not a number to be concerned with as far as potential hearing loss, unless your head is realclose to the unit, then I might be concerned. Hearing loss usually starts at long exposures to 90db and higher. Don't take that as Gospel, Clyde. That is my understanding. I feel a flame suit order coming on..
