Just to keep things on an even keel and (I really don't want to spar with you because you might deck me) but many a Dallasite has MASTered sailing and have a hull of a good time.
I would rather be TACTful and say you may have the wrong picture of Dallas, it is lush and green most of the year and we have avast number of lakes to sail on.
