Pierre,
It has been my experience that the CA glue will make the piano tunable. =
But consider it the last rites for that piano unless you plan on =
restringing and installing a new block in the future.
So far I have only used CA on terminal patients. Not on pianos of great =
value.

Subject: CA Glue / Pin tightner

  Hi list,

I'd like to experiment with ca glue on an old piano witch has lose =
tuning pins.
This piano has already been treated with pin tightner a few years ago. =
(pins still a little to loose)
Suposing that it is not possible to put new pins because the former =
use of this stuff called pin tightner.
I was wandering what would be the reaction/effect of the ca glue =
versus pin tightner.=20
  Any comments?

  Thanks,
  Pierre Gevaert
  Belgium.
