Wouldn't it just be a matter of smattering the pinblock/plate glued area with a lot of acetone to dissolve the CA glue holding them together? You might trash your pinblock or do unhappy things to the finish on the plate, but you dont' really care since you're replacing the pinblock and repainting the plate anyway... -Tyler
