I think it's an excellent idea to do some aural tunings every so often, just to keep your ears sharp. Just think of it as a refresher course in tuning; it's good for you.

I just did my first half-step pitch raise aurally since I first
got my SAT III several years ago. I really missed it. It's on its
way to Inventronics to have some work done on it.
