It's all down to the last tuner and how well or bad they tuned the
piano,  ETA's are still  quite far and few in the UK There was a local
tuner who used one however, his standard of work was not so good  so
folk being folk they think any ETA's as bad,  the fact that the next
person to come along with one, no matter how good their tunings are they
are prejudged  because of the box.
