Tuning Complaint - Help!

I did try to explore this with her. I asked her about voicing. The hammers are real hard and grooved and the piano is rather bright. I asked her if she thought the tone was bright - she asked "what's that, play a B?" She also used the term "drum". "My piano sounds like you are banging on a drum". I think her piano has more in common with a metal trash can lid than a drum, but I wonder if it is just the case that she hates the piano?

> Terry: I suggest asking her to define "flat". Don't assume that you and she have the same understanding of the term I was called back to retune a "flat" note on a piano, tuned and checked it every which way, and she still said it was flat. Turns out she was talking about the voicing of the the note, that it was very dull sounding. I voiced it up, and she was happy.
