Tuning Complaint - Help!

When a person calls upon one of us to tune their piano, their only concern
is for the piano to sound better.

When a tuner crafts a tuning, science and art come into play. Sometimes the
artful hand is what makes the piano sonorous.

Those of us who have dared break the Golden Rule have realized that a lot
of pianos sound better with a tuning scheme other than ET.
ET is edgy and harsh for many pianos.

If you ask the average piano owner about ET, they won't have a clue about
what you are talking about. Just make it sound right.

And that was just a little inside joke which Bill made. Or outside joke
depending on your perspective.
