Hi Joe, I meant that the client might be profoundly deaf. I have had two clients that found playing their intruments unbearable with their hearing aides on. That was the basis for the statement. Obviously, it is quite possible to tune *with* hearing aides--most people call them ETD's *grin*. I'm very glad that hearing aides are improving by the day! For I expect to have to wear one some day.
