quick advice on damperlever replacement

Nope.  They come from Schaff with or without wires, which is what got me 
thinking about this in the first place.

And Greg, the damper levers themselves are plastic, not just the flanges.  So 
the whole lever and flange needs replacing.  On the postive side, it would be 
easy to take the wires out of the old ones.  I'd just crumble 'em like a 
plastic elbow.

What I don't know is:  would putting the old wires/heads on the new levers be 
easy?  Would the damper wire slip into the lever like a hammer shank into a 
butt?  Add a little glue, and you're all done?  Or would they have to be 
forced in?

I guess I'm gun shy on the wire bending because I just got through replacing 
damper levers/heads/felts on a Mason&Hamlin console.  The previous technician 
had thrown out the old damper levers, so I had to start from scratch.  It was 
quite time consuming, because I had never had to do this before.  I know it 
would be much easier to simply match the bends in the old damper wires.  
Still, easiest of all seems to be putting that old wire in the new lever...
