Clair, I did something similar with elbow replacement once. A young stud was home for Christmas and hanging around the house. I've always enjoyed interaction with teens and young adults (which is how I survived teaching high school for seventeen years), so I mentioned that if he wants to help he can save the family some money. He did, and I enjoyed our conversation as we worked on the project.
