'93 Toyota Corolla wagon works fine for me. I've gradually gotten lazy and left the rear seats folded down. It has a vinyl cover which pulls out and hides the trunk area. Too bad they stopped making it in '94. Good mileage -- 30 or 31 highway. Enough power, handles well, parks easily. I also considered a VW golf and a Subaru wagon. Susan
