You would be surprised how handy a 4 wheel drive can be in Florida. We =
have this stuff called sand...little white crystal looking stuff which =
is everywhere.  Some rural roads are nothing but soft sand which makes =
driving no different than driving in 4 inches of snow. =20
Then there are the no-so good boat ramps which can be a real thriller =
trying getting one's boat out of the water after a long day of chasing =
lobsters.
Not everywhere in Florida is it a  paved wonderland.
