Hi Wim, I have enjoyed the ones I've taken. One thing is made perfectly clear, however. After you are done, you may not, under any circumstances, promote yourself, advertise, or give the impression that you are Steinway certified, or factory trained. In other words, you're still just another technician, who hopefully gained from your time there, but you're on your own. There is no such thing as a Steinway technician and all such endorsements are discouraged by Steinway. Otherwise, have a good time. You are bound to learn something new. jeannie -----Original Message----- From: owner-pianotech@ptg.org [mailto:owner-pianotech@ptg.org] On Behalf Of Wimblees@AOL.COM Sent: Wednesday, June 19, 2002 3:58 PM To: Pianotech@ptg.org; caut@ptg.org Subject: Steinway seminar Dear Friends A week after the convention, I will be going to New York to attend a week long Steinway seminar. This is the first of four week long seminars Steinway offers, after which you presumeably become a "factory trained technician". Has any one compelted the courses? Would you care to comment on them? Thank you. Wim
