Have the university, buy a foldable cherry picker, like the one used in =
garages.
In fact there may be one on campus, ask the Physical Plant.
I have one in my workshop, it allows me to do things by myself, that =
would otherwise be impossible. Mine cost around $300 Cdn, on sale. So =
you should be able to get one for around $200 US. Or just rent one.
I wouldn't suggest turning the grand upside down, you wouldn't be able =
to control it, and if it falls, there is a good chance it would break.

  Subject: removing plate

I have to take the plate out of grand piano. I don't have a hoist, and =
I don't have two other people to help me. Has any one tipped the piano =
on it's side, and then upside down to take the plate out? Any other =
ideas?=20
