It has been my experience that ceiling fans are the culprit in weird sound effects. :-) The effects are worse as the fan blades turn slower as is the case most times. Those wide paddle blades moving at a slow speed will drive you crazy 'if' you try to tune past them....IMO, DWRS, tuning should not be attempted with a slowly turning ceiling fan in your line of sight. Small fans with small blades turning at 'normal' fan speeds don't seem to be a problem..... Jim Bryant (FL)
