No, the town of "Seaside" where "Truman Show" was filmed is right on the
Gulf of Mexico, just east of a town called Santa Rosa Beach, which is
south-east of Destin. Looking at a map you will find Destin right between
Pensacola and Panama City Beach on highway 98...
