NO! Have you ever tried to cut itty bitty screws like that? And, wind up
with a proper bevel at the tip, so that the screw will enter the threads
properly? NOT! Yes, I could have installed all of the butts and removed all
of the dampers, to gain access to the screws and cobbled them so that they
would not hit the rail. But, that's not my style of workmanship. If I had
done it that way, it would have worked just fine, UNTIL, some other tech had
to remove one, then I would have been on the big list of that tech. :-(
