Ed,

Larry Fine, The Piano Book, 4th edition, page 153:

"Yamaha now has a number of manufacturing relationships with China. First,
the company operates a joint-venture factory in Guangzhou, China in which it
assembles pianos using parts from the nearby Guangzhou Pearl River piano
factory, maker of Pearl River pianos, as well as parts of its own from Japan
and China. These pianos are sold in China under the Yamaha name, but in the
U.S. and other parts of the world they appear only under the name 'Eterna.'"

A new one for me. Eterna piano; # 6896. Has only 75 notes. On the plate
is also engraved Tenryo-Gakki-Seizo- K.K. Does anybody know anything about
this brand?? It's not in my Atlas..
