Not this time. Forget what is written on the fallboard. Companies re-use names all the time. Yes, the Eterna name is used by Yamaha. We had some in Australia years ago, they were Japanese and the serial numbers followed the Yamaha models (in the millions). "Tenryo-Gakki-Seizo- K.K." has nothing to do with Yamaha, and i can't imagine Yamaha ever making something with 75 notes. "Tenryo-Gakki-Seizo- K.K." is listed in Pierce #10 as being made in Hamamatsu Japan. The only serial numbers listed are: S/N Year 2600 1955 3100 1957 3520 1958 3750 1960 Scott Jackson Jurjens Pianos Wollongong Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Ross" <jrpiano@win.eastlink.ca> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Friday, 28 June 2002 6:30 Subject: Re: Eterna? | |Eterna, was a bottom of the line piano, put out by Yamaha, and sold |in Canada. |Formica, woodgrain and compressed sawdust case.
