kneel in front of the piano, then lift your right leg so your right foot is
now on the ground..you left knee and your right foot is on the ground. You
have to get realclose to the keys anyway, but I have found this position,
with breaks, to be the best for my 'piano back'.

Like I said John, I don't tune but 3 a year, if that..as a matter of fact, I
haven't tuned one in 2002 yet....
