Never having actually bought any Chickering replacement whippens,
except the Aeolian jokes of 15 or so years ago, I can't say for sure
that any are available from Tokiwa. Also, just in case I need some, I
recently acquired a set of used Chickering whippens from Gordon Stelter
which he had cleaned with his procedure - whereby an amazing result was
produced and this would seem to indicate a lack of confidence in any
belief of mine that new ones are available. I really, don't know for
sure. But, I thought I had noticed one day sometime in the recent
past where the catalogue insert for Tokiwa parts indicated they were
available, perhaps I misunderstood it.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope a little later in the fall to
be able to get to the West Coast.
