Hi Ken, I have restored and completely rebuilt two of these and they continue to please the customers. They have a terrible tone - very shrill - even with soft hammers. They are Recordo mechanisms - an expression mechanism as opposed to a reproducer. Kind of fun - but would be hard to sell. Good luck!
