It's not awfully critical, within reason. The lengths between the pressure 
bar and V are short, so you have plenty of leeway on the angle. Make the 
height about what it takes to make the string between the tuning pin and 
the pressure bar parallel to the plate.

Or look at fourteen other verticals and reproduce what they did.
