Thanks, Phillip, for spending the time to take and email these photos. I've 
enjoyed looking at  and taking pictures of other old George Steck pianos 
(small upright, large upright, and an 1885 grand). They all have 
interesting features, such as true sostenuto systems in the both the big 
upright and the grand, which still would be working if the rubber membrane 
hadn't hardened.

I've saved your jpegs to my picture file.
