Ron:

I meant working time for gluing the ribbed panel into the rim. But the general question is how much additional time does Titebond Extend give you over regular Titebond?

Ron:

What is the working time for the Titebond Extend. Enough time for one
person to clamp up a soundboard including the cutoff bar?

David,

The cutoff bar is already fitted to the case separately. The time required is that for the application of glue to the ribs and clamping the panel down onto the ribs (this is all done the right way up, and not inverted as it is when a shaped caul is involved and either go bars or pressurised air employed). The sound board does not extend out over the cut-off area. This area will be filled with a piece of structural ply which is veneered top and bottom with Rock Maple.
