Well let's put it this way - if you give a damn about money,

The next version of Windows $300-$500 with MS forced downloading of 
updates, fixes and patches that might crash your system vs next version 
of non -forced anything Linux FREE
The next version of MS OFFICE $300-$500 vs next version of OpenOffice FREE
The next version of any Windows based software $$$ vs next version of 
Linux software FREE
So I take it, you would rather spend $600+ - $1200+ vs FREE

So let's compare, I have an OS, Office Software, Business Software, Web 
Browser, Graphical Manipulation, Database, Scanner Software, Firewall, 
Financial Software, Content Blocking, Pop-up Blocking, Palm-Pilot 
Desktop software, Calendar, Appointment Book, CD burning, Audio 
Software, and, last but not least, Games - ALL FOR FREE AND YOU HAVE .......
