glueing nylon

Larry,
     You might try some of the "specialized" fabric
glues from a good fabric store. A great many of them
are thicker/much stickier than the "PVC-E" that 
PP Co. sells.
     I think that "Aileen's Tcaky Glue" is absolutely
superb for action felts. Thick. Water soluble. One
step application.Easily removable for future
restorations.
     I've never had any trouble with it and have heard
no good reason yet not to use it. It also does not
over-absorb into the felt, leading to unwanted
ridges/rigidity.
