I know I promised to stay nice and polite ,
but this invention gave me a good opportunity to laugh (while it is a little
sad that people have spend so much time trying to commercialize such a
goodie).
Listen to the samples with and without the "pitch lock" and you will
certainly - for most hear immediately why it is useless.
On the other hand string coupling is exactly what we are after if we want to
tune long lasting unisons (and nicely toning piano) - also what we get with
voicing.

DEAR PTG CHAPTER PRESIDENT:
My name is Scott Jones and I am pleased to announce a new product now
available to piano technicians. PitchLock piano string couplers are small
metal bands that link or "couple" pairs of piano strings. The joined
strings produce a single frequency, even if the individual strings are out
of tune. As a result, unison tuning longevity is significantly increased.
The effect is remarkable.
You will be seeing and hearing a lot about this new concept in the very near
future. PitchLock will be featured in the February issue of the PTG
journal. We will also be exhibiting and teaching classes at conventions
nationwide. You can also learn more about PitchLock at our new website
