Terry, Live and learn, as they say. If a piano is 43" I call it a console, and if it's 45" I call it a studio. But to quote Larry Fine, "The 43" [Charles R. Walter] pianos are called 'consoles' for marketing purposes because of their styling, but both the 43" and the 45" pianos are really studios ... by virtue of their studio-size actions, and are actually identical pianos in different sized cabinets."
