Replacing Grand Jack Cords

Yes, Tom, I AM uncomfortable with the fact that
zillions of harmless little caterpillars are killed to
"make" silk.  And, last I heard, compassion was an
attribute, not a vice. ( When was the last time YOU
were gravely injured, or killed? Please think back on
it, its good for you....)
     But, ethical considerations aside, please share
with ALL of us your method for tying those loops! I
intend to round up some 50 pound test Dacron kite
string and "have at it".
