I don't think you could get enough thread into the roll pin, and any more pressure from the inside just makes the pin grip the sides of the hole harder. I tried to look up Rockwell hardness figures for these pins and for cobalt drill bits. The bits are (according to the single source I found) indeed harder than the roll pins so, as Keith suggested, it may actually be possible to drill them out. It would certainly impress me if it worked. Ron N
