Short backscales

  I find it interesting to, instead of looking at the back scale, look =
at where the bridge is on the soundboard. You'll get much better tone =
when the bridge isn't right on the rim. Duh, you all knew that, didn't =

  Amazing! And the whole length of the bridge too, instead of just the =
last=20
  half dozen strings. That's pretty relentless. The tenor looks to have =
a=20
  decent length back scale, and there's room to move the bass bridge =
forward=20
  far enough to just about double it's back scale. But they didn't.
