Intermittent ZINGing Chopin on M&H 1923 model AA

Hi Terry,
 The string can be moved slightly in any direction and remain there becuase
of wire memory.
I simply moved the wire  ( string ) away from the wire (damper ) resurfaced
the string cut tip o de hammer and checked the level.  By ear first then
with the level just to be sure. As I remember no leveling was necessary only
moving it to the side and retuning. You get lucky once in a while.
