This goes along your line of thinking, isn't it?
[It's a very very old Bechstein]
I wonder how it sounded when new. Although the idea of moving the bridge
away from the rim is good, I really don't see why you have to bend the
straight side (like in this case) when you can angle the strings to the
right more.
