Fw: How to Survive a Heart Attack Alone

Even this subject is, of course, off topic here, but, it is indeed, useful
information which should be shared, in my opinion, and, where applicable, will
be absolutely vital. An aspirin, should one's heart stop will be, obviously,
useless, although one should be taken if possible. In fact, self administered
CPR as described is indeed a valid technique which may well the only way for a
person to save his own life and should be taken seriously. It is NOT one of the
many useless fabrications or exaggerations relentlessly forwarded about the net.
There was a story reported, perhaps, two or three years ago, of just such a
situation in which a doctor in New York City maintained consciousness and
mobility by exactly this method in order to get himself to an emergency room and
treatment. He survived and, had he not used the coughing technique, would have
almost certainly died.
Thanks John.
