Advice on buying pianos: get out there and play as many as you can for as long as you can. Make it a hobby for several years. Play some pianos that you know you won't like, just for comparison. Go back every few months and play the same pianos again, and you'll notice some different things. Then you can get an idea of the different sound from different pianos.
