WOW! This one seems to turn the grey-market Japanese piano thingee on its ear!

Maybe they boil them for proper seasoning??? Now who on earth could be those "unscrupulous used piano importers" they refer to?

All pre-owned Yamaha pianos and Grands imported by us are suitable for the North American climate, certified by our Japanese exporters and labeled before they leave Japan!

Indeed, one should be watchful of a number of unscrupulous used piano importers who bring in pianos that are falling short of the piano industry standards. These products will most likely not hold up very well and develop problems in a relatively short while after purchase.

Please be advised not to purchase these pianos!

We at the Piano House Burlington Inc. stay far away from these kind of questionable imports. Our used Yamaha and Kawai pianos and grands are certified before leaving Japan as a genuine Japanese high quality piano product. Our pianos are of such high quality even Yamaha and Kawai dealers purchase our used pianos to resell them in their stores!

When you purchase a used Japanese piano in our store it is automatically accompanied by our full 10 (ten) year no nonsense warranty!

If you have more questions regarding this climate issue, please feel free to contact us by email or at 1-888-742-6681 (1-888-PIANO-81) or visit our show room.
