This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Grand piano in a room next to a wall. On the other side of the wall, a washing machine with old hoses. Pinhole leak develops in hose. Owners are out of the country for a month. Very thin high-pressure stream blasts its way through the drywall on one side, the drywall an the other, and eventually ... the back rim of the piano. Piano and part of the house destroyed. I didn't actually witness this, it was told me by the contractor who removed the mess and rebuilt the living room. And guess what is specifically NOT covered by your homeowner's or renter's insurance!?! Moral: Replace those hoses every now and then AND turn the spigots off when you are not actually running the washer--especially if you are off to Mexico! By the way, Kieth wrote: "The harpsichord is a very light and delicate thing." One of my music profs (Dr. Joe Pivall, So. Ill. Univ. at Edwardsville, outstanding cellist and all around nice guy) publically described the sound of the harpsichord thusly: "Marbles dropping through bedsprings." Alan R. Bach had a piano in those days? Making love to a harpshichord, is like making love to the music of all time. Of course the piano had been invented. Kenny --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
