cleaning balance rail pins &

Greetings Piano Lover.  Personally, I always clean front and balance rail
pins using a fine grade wire wool and a little Brasso, being carefull not to
let the fluid run onto the rail as it will dis-colour. Wipe clean, polish
up, and finish with a light coating of petrolium jelly, or Teflon
powder.[which ever is the cheapest!]  Hope this helps.
