I have a few pictures of an open frame giraffe as he describes.  I _think_
the one I took was called an Orphicon and is located at EUCHMI (Edinburgh
University).  I'll have to go back some time and take better ones.   I also
took some pictures of the action and tuning devices - all under keybed
level and, indeed, the tuners are at pedal level.

If someone could review [privately] how I get these posted, I'd appreciate it.
