Jim, Yes that works great. Don't remember just how I found out about it but I've been routinely using that ever since I started with pvc-e. I do recall having a piano top (console) that was terribly grungy with miny miny coats of wax and dirt. In desperation I tried denatured alcohol and it worked great. Really took off the grime but also the shine. Had to restore the shine but the dirt came off great. This top was the type like the bench that sticks to your pants.
