Ivory Glue

David,
I have been doing Ivory for over 30 years. My choice is PVC-E with Titanium
Dioxide mixed in. I've used everything imaginable, but find this the best
glue. If you make a mistake in alignment, etc., it can be un-done with a wet
rag and hot iron. PVC-E gives you sufficient time to align and clamp. BTW,
the clamping plates, obtained from the supply houses are worthless! I'll
send a photo of the clamps I use. They are made out of anodized aircraft
grade aluminum, 1/4" thick. You will only need 3-6 of them to do your
repairs.
Best Regards,
Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon)
