Pitch raise

I see a pitch raise included in almost every tune job. I used to tell the
customer one price and then another price IF I had to do a pitch raise.
Well, it's been my experience that if the piano is over about 5 cents flat,
I'd better do a pitch raise, at least in the treble. So, I quit having two
prices. My price includes a pitch raise. Return customers get a little
discount, but that's the only break I give 'em.

Just my two cents

I think it's true that people don't appreciate what they don't pay for.
Worse, if you give it away for free, they tend to expect it in the future.
