    In the scale, and in 1 octave above (just) and in one octave below, =
yes. But for the rest of the piano I will settle on fifths.

    Oh, OK.  Yeah, up in the high treble, for most home tunings I don't =
use much more than octaves and and 12ths, occasionally checking with =
3rds, 10ths, 17ths.  And in the bass, I'll tune using the Major =
6th/minor 3rd octave check, but often rely on just octaves and 5ths.
