Clyde,

In my mind it's not an issue of protecting one's reputation. It's an 
issue of knowing the particulars that can cause a piano to go out of 
tune, and then being able to convey that information to the customer 
when asked.

The truth of the material presented provides the protection. How 
someone else interprets the information presented is another matter.
