Is it because you coudn't access it, or was there so much damage to the
piano that removal was not possible..why not?

Moving companies will rarely pony up for the full amount coming to you..take
lots of pictures of the damaged piano and one that's not damaged(same model)
and have your client get a lawyer.

If the action can not be remove -  'not possible'  - because of something
the moving company did, she should have an attorney.
