Wait a second! That's a bit of a blanket statement. The ones made in 
Boston (1853-1930) were pretty good, although they're admittedly 
showing their age by now (worn out action parts, pinblocks, brass rail 
failure etc).
On the other hand, I would agree that I never met an Aeolian Vose that 
I ever liked.
