Boy, Gordon. I don't think I would want to live in your sterile world. You do seem a tad paranoid. It would be a pretty sad place, if there were no 'dirty' pets. They do a world of good, just look at the dogs and cats that visit or are at old folks homes. The elderly, look forward to the visits. Also, speaking of a dog's licks, it is a proven fact that the human bite is more dangerous than a dog's because of the additional germs in a dog's mouth. Don't get me wrong now, I would never French kiss a dog. :-) Dogs only reek, if the owners don't look after them. I don't know about you, but I have smelled a few people that 'reeked' as you put it, and there is no excuse for them, being dirty. Regards, John M. Yes you do have a silly name. ----- Original Message ----- From: "gordon stelter" <lclgcnp@yahoo.com> To: "Pianotech" <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2003 2:41 AM Subject: Dogs and pianos > Dear list, > I also just don't like them because they stink, > and I have spent thousands of dollars on pianos (nice > ones!) that I have had to destroy because there is NO > WAY that I could eliminate the stench and, in good > conscience, sell the piano to one of my very nice, > clean, non-pet owning customers!!!
