Quiet(er) Air Compressor

That's what I have - Sears NO OIL. NOISY!   (direct drive).  Eeeee-gads =
it is noisy. And not only noisy, it is a hyper-noise, not a relaxed =
noise like the belt driven jobs. Works though. I have also heard that =
they wear out fast. I almost hope it does because I will get a quiet =
belt driven job next. Someone mentioned a cast-iron pump - I believe =
that is in fact a good way to go.
